Lesina_Benthic_ciliates_MayJune2004_Data_digitized_from_Madoni2006

Abstract

Sample collections were made during early May and the end of July 2004 at Lesina lagoon.
During the investigation period, 63 ciliate taxa belonging to 41 genera were found: 38 were observed at Sacca di Goro stations, 33 were observed at Lesina stations, and 8 were common to the two lagoons.

In the .dbf Table data refer to sediments collected in Spring and Summer: Porosity (ml/ml); Density (g/cm3); Redox (mV); Bacterial biomass (µgC/g); Chlorophyll a (µg/g) and Ciliates.
